Circular Stories
In this project, I tried to tell stories using yin-yang symbol's circular form to emphasize how seemingly contrary elements can complement one another.
The Lion & The Mouse: The story from Aesop’s Fables illustrates the harmony of opposing forces, as seen when the small mouse saves the mighty lion from a hunter's net.
Michabo The Great Hare: Michabo is a deity figure associated with creation in Algonquian Native American mythology. The peaceful composition illustrates the harmony between humans and the natural world.
Carnivore & Herbivore: I was inspired by a dialogue from The Lion King, where Mufasa says that we are all connected in the great Circle of Life, and our lives, from beginning to end resemble a complete full circle.
